Learn to stay home, do nothing but what you enjoy and take care of yourself. We are all so programmed to help others deal with their stuff that we never learned how to take care of our own stuff, or we help others to avoid our own stuff. I took the week off from work primarily because I just needed a break, but to focus on my health. I spent the whole week eating good wholesome food, trying new things, yoga and a ton of meditation. Every time I got up to work on a project or said to myself “I should be doing...” I stopped and picked up a book to read or something equally pleasant. I learned to take care of myself a few years ago and I know that it has many benefits, but I get caught in the daily grind and don't focus on self care enough. Be sure to take me time for yourself.
